Innovation Africa started in 2011 and is now the leading meetings-based summit for education, innovation, Edtech investment, technical-vocational skills development on the continent.
In January 2024 the AU gathered ministers in Addis Ababa to declare “Year of Education”. A little over a year later ministers and officials will return under the patronage of The Federal Government of Ethiopia to meet with industry, multilateral partners and solution providers.
